Using a Subscription Across Different Devices (iOS and Android)

If you purchased a subscription in the app on iOS or Android and want to use it on a device with a different operating system, the subscription will not transfer.

Updated over a month ago

Why does this happen?

  • Subscriptions in the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android) are two independent systems.

  • They are not connected and do not allow subscriptions to be transferred between platforms.

  • This means if your subscription was purchased on iOS, it will only work on Apple devices. If purchased on Android, it will only work on Android devices.

How does login via Apple Pay or Google Play work?

  • Access to the app through a subscription purchased in App Store or Google Play is always tied to the primary email of your device account.

  • On iOS, this is the Apple ID that the subscription is linked to.

  • On Android, this is the Google Account set on the device and used for the purchase.

How to get access on the other platform?

  • To use a subscription on both iOS and Android, you need to purchase it separately in each app store.

  • Important: if you purchased your subscription directly on our website, you can log into the app on any device (iOS or Android) using an OTP code.

Summary

  • A subscription purchased through the App Store works only on iOS and is tied to your Apple ID.

  • A subscription purchased through Google Play works only on Android and is tied to your Google Account.

  • A subscription purchased directly on our website can be used on any device (iOS or Android).
